Iron ReHealth is excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Viva Health, part of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System, effective January 1, 2020!
Iron ReHealth and Viva Health are pleased to inform you that, effective January 1, 2020, our teams will be joining forces.
With a strong reputation for providing Alabamians with a high level of care, Viva Health has constructed a robust network of healthcare providers across the state that allows access to over 80 hospitals and more than 18,000 providers.
While our network and claims administrator will be changing to Viva Health from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama on January 1, 2020, our team and mission remain the same.
The Iron ReHealth program began offering health benefits in September 2018, and since that time has grown to provide health benefits to more than 5,000 fellow Alabamians from all across our state. Iron ReHealth’s unique structure offers members the same benefits as traditional insurers, while providing savings and flexibility to your business.
Viva Health Provider Search
There are several options to make it easy to search for a Viva Health provider.
Option 1:
Visit the Viva Health website.
On the Viva Health website you can use the simple search tool to view doctors, hospitals, ancillary providers and urgent care facilities in the Viva Health network.
Option 2:
Once on the page, click Select Network; then choose the PHCS or Multiplan network. Choose Extended PPO. Then choose your zip code and search for your doctor.
Option 3:
Download the spreadsheet provided by Iron ReHealth.
This spreadsheet includes the Viva Health providers as of 10/31/19, and will be updated periodically as new providers are added.
